"This is truly a great shoe: well-made, sophisticated, comfortable, and affordable."
The leather on these is softer and has more give than the loafers, and like I said, I wore these right out of the box with no problems at all. They arrive with the heel down (you walk on the heel, basically, like a traditional babouche), but you can wear the heel up like a shoe. I have never tried to do that, nor would I, honestly.
This is truly a great shoe: well-made, sophisticated, comfortable, and affordable. For me though, and my thicker calves, I generally prefer the more “open” style of my Emerson Fry slides though because showing more of my foot helps elongate my legs. Overall these are so chic, and they’re all the rage right now (ACNE studios has an identical style for a lot more $$$). AND these have much more support than a traditional style Moroccan babouche.
